After many years working in the property sector – first as a real estate agent, then as a marketing manager (at a tech company in the construction sector), then as a project manager (commercial joinery) – the early mornings got the better of me and I decided to take what I’ve learned and put it to some good use.

Today, I work as a futurist, meaning I filter through the noise to identify patterns and trends. I take the complex and turn it into coherent, useful and meaningful information that provides insight, reveals blindspots and presents solutions.

My work involves connecting the past and the present to make predictions about the future. But I don’t just notice the “new thing”, my job is to recognise whether that new thing even matters. And if it does, what does it mean, and how it will influence the future.
