Aiming for Circular

Written by Sylvia
What does circular economy mean?
Defined by a closed loop of MAKE > USE/CONSUME > RECYCLE (whilst creating the least amount of waste in the process.
It’s the opposite of the linear economy, which dominates the world today. A linear economy is defined by the words TAKE > MAKE > USE/CONSUME > WASTE. This model has a detrimental impact on the environment.
It’s important to note that Circular doesn’t always mean Green, with some practices using or producing toxic chemicals within the circular loop.
